The Beer and Bubs workshops at the pub are facilitated by Lucy and Bruce Perry. Together, they run a graphic design and advertising business. However, after the births of their two babies, they realised that there was very little information for men as they prepared for their role in childbirth. There were lots of things that shocked Bruce at the birth of his first that didn't phase him when he was there delivering his second - things he wishes he had been prepared for the first time.

Lucy is an experienced doula or childbirth support partner and is called to attend births once or twice a month. She is also the founder of Australia's largest online doula directory and is the author of a number of published articles on the subject of childbirth support.

Why the pub? Because that's where Lucy and Bruce would rather be! It also provides a relaxed atmosphere where we can have a drink and a chat and actually learn something about childbirth that's positive, empowering and useful.
